The other day, as I was traveling back to Hanoi, Vietnam, I couldn’t help but notice the significant number of foreigners on my flight. It was astonishing, especially considering the challenges posed by Covid in recent years. Very few foreigners traveled to Vietnam not long ago, but things have changed remarkably. It seems that more and more people are discovering the beauty and allure of the country.

Having lived and traveled in Vietnam for over two decades, it remains one of our cherished destinations for living and exploring. Vietnam offers a wealth of attractions and experiences that continue to captivate visitors. Below, we’ve outlined our top 20 reasons why Vietnam remains a beloved travel destination. Our Two-Week Suggested Itinerary For Our Travel To Vietnam

If you have only two weeks to explore Vietnam, here’s a suggested itinerary covering the country’s highlights. Keep in mind that you can adjust the time spent in each location based on your interests:

Day 1-3: Hanoi

  • Arrive in Hanoi and spend a day or two exploring the vibrant city.
  • Take a day trip to Ha Long Bay to marvel at its stunning limestone karsts and emerald waters. If you like a place like Ha Long Bay, you can stay for a night on a boat.

Day 4-6: Sapa

  • Travel to Sapa and immerse yourself in the culture of the hill tribes.

Day 7-9: Hoi An
